The True origin of the nzemas

TRUE ORIGIN OF THE NZEMA PEOPLE OF GHANA

The origin of the Nzema people of Ghana.

Nzema is one of Ghana’s popular coastal states. Many Ghanaians do remember the tribe as one that produced the first president of Ghana.

People of Nzema

They are still one of the undying people of Ghana. However, no current book has been able to point out the origin of these people. Hence, this article is set to expose the origin of these people and some inevitable facts about them.

First, Nzemas are not one of Ghana’s indigenous tribes like the guans and the others. The nzemas had migrated from a different country to their current day settlements.

In the 12th century, a group of people led by the man, Adwomoloa and other men landed in Ghana. They were said to have belonged to a particular clan which is the Nvavile clan. Agona is what the Asantes call it and Anona is the fante name for the clan.

Before the time of arrival, the nzemas used to be settlers in Southern Sudan, around North Africa. They lived in an area around the southern part of the Egyptian Nile, present day Sudan.

The Nzemas lived in Nugi which is presently in Sudan. As it stands, one of the royal stools of the Nvavile people of Nzema is in Egypt. This can be located in the Valley of the Kings, Egypt.

Moreover, the activities of war and conquest, trading and other factors played a major role in their migration. As farmers, their search for a better farmland can not be neglected as a factor. All these things coming together pushed the Nzema state to their present day settlements.

According to oral tradition and some other fragments of history, the early Nzemas had longed for a land near water bodies. It is stated in oral tradition that, the deity that led the people at the time was in need of a land that is closer to a river and the sea.

Nevertheless, you can see that the present day settlement of Nzemas is in between the Gulf of Guinea and renowned rivers like Tano, Ankobra, Pra and the likes.

Notably, the first king of the Nzemas was King Anobile Aka. Nzema was then a small group of people and not as compared to what we see now.

These people became a coastal state through the efforts of the mighty lord, King Kaku

I. He was the first king to extend the shores of Nzema into other lands.

A brief history about philosophy and science

HISTORY ABOUT PHILOSOPHY AND SCIENCE  Philosophy began in Ancient Egypt & science began in Ancient Sumerian  Philosophy, science, and logic were not born in ancient Greece, as they existed in ancient Egypt centuries ago. Greek philosophers learned this information by going to Egypt and Mesopotamia. First of all, the Egyptian, Mesopotamian, Sumerian and Indian cultures are more ancient and older than the Ancient Greek culture.  Science and wisdom in Mesopotamia and especially Egypt were held in high esteem by the Greeks. Although it was an expensive journey, going to Egypt and getting an education was as valuable as going to American universities and getting a doctorate today. For this reason, the majority of Greek philosophers went to Egypt. They wrote down the information they learned there as if they had discovered it themselves  THALES is considered the founder of philosophy. But, according to Herodotus, Thales, who was Phoenician, began to think about the un...

THE FIRST AND OLDEST MUSICAL INSTRUMENT

FLUTE IS THE FIRST AND OLDEST MUSICAL INSTRUMENT  At least that appears likely.  Found in  Slovenia, in a cave that was inhabited by Neanderthals,  the 4.5-inch cave bear femur has four spaced, similarly-sized holes in a line in a recognizable musical scale. Even though the odds of that happening by chance are slim, much of the scientific community has rejected the idea that Neanderthals had the cognitive ability and creativity to make music, much less a flute to produce it. The main competing hypothesis is that carnivores made the holes while chewing the bone. In all fairness, both ends of the article do appear to have suffered gnawing. But experiments have shown that it would be nearly impossible for carnivores to produce the holes on the thickest and most rigid part of the bone without breaking it. And no match could be found for any animal to make two of the holes at a time.  A reconstructed model of the flute  has been used to produce good qua...
